I think it's a great way to celebrate our history and look toward a promising future. Despite some challenges, we have momentum to keep our city growing. Business prospects take notice - Fremont's new data park is taking shape. With redundant fiber complete, the design phase of this project is moving fast. We can't wait to break ground to fuel that entrepreneurial spirit that attracts business startups. It's just a matter of time.

With an expanded runway and a private hanger under construction, the Fremont Municipal Airport is an increasingly valuable asset, with more traffic every day. Just 40 minutes from Omaha, you can be sure it is making our business climate even more attractive.

After a multi-million dollar upgrade to increase capacity in 2011, Natura Pet Products will be expanding its Fremont capabilities again in 2012. We are fortunate to have a national leader in the pet food industry here in our city. With site improvements to the 23-acre site south of the Natura campus nearly complete, we look for great news in the spring.
