GFDC staff attend the Governor’s Ag and Economic Development Summit

Lauren Foster (GFDC Director of Quality of Life) and Kelsey Martinez (GFDC Director of Business Services) attended the Governor’s Ag and Economic Development Summit in Kearney Nebraska August 3rd-4th. They heard from speakers and panels discussing topics that included: building broadband infrastructure, growing educational opportunities, attracting foreign direct investment to Nebraska, revitalizing North Omaha, along with others. Speakers included: Governor Pete Rickettes, Tony Goins Director at Nebraska Department of Economic Development, Terry Branstad past U.S. Ambassador to China, and many more. Additionally, Lauren and Kelsey were able to network with many professionals and leaders here in Nebraska. I will attach a picture of us at the banquet.
